ABOUT

Born and raised in the Outer Hebrides, I grew up surrounded by the colours, textures and traditions that inspire every piece I make. My love for Harris Tweed began in childhood; my grandfather, dad, and uncle were all weavers, and I spent countless hours around the looms, soaking in the rhythm and craft of their work. That early connection shaped my creative journey. I now work exclusively with authentic Harris Tweed to create unique clothing and accessories that celebrate island heritage with a modern twist. Each item is developed by me, with a focus on originality. I aim to design pieces that haven’t been made before. Every item is handmade with care, carrying a little piece of home wherever it goes.

"There’s something magical about working with Harris Tweed; every thread tells a story of the land, the sea, and the hands that wove it. I design each piece to honour that heritage while creating something entirely unique, tailored for modern life with timeless soul."

COMMISIONS

I created this bespoke jumpsuit for Stephen Libby, which he wore on 'The Traitors, uncloaked'. Made from authentic Harris Tweed, the design combines traditional island cloth with a bold, contemporary silhouette that stands out while still honouring heritage.

Every Satin Vine commission is thoughtfully designed and meticulously made. This piece showcases how versatile Harris Tweed can be beyond classic tailoring. From the initial concept to the final stitch, it reflects my commitment to quality craftsmanship, individuality and modern island style.

All bespoke pieces are made to order, with fabric choice, fit and details tailored to you, creating something truly one of a kind.

What Stephen had to say;

"You’ll know by now that I love a jumpsuit, I also love the Hebrides and a rich part of our culture is Harris Tweed. This tweed cloth is still woven by Islanders in their homes and when I was lucky enough to inherit a roll of tweed woven by my great uncle I knew I wanted to do something special with it.

I was lucky enough to find local seamstress Satin Vine who was crazy enough to take on the project of turning this tweed into the jumpsuit of my dreams. The brown tweed fits perfectly into the rugged landscape of the Outer Hebrides and was just screaming out for a wee photoshoot."
